According to NBM, in June 2010 the amount of loans, repaid by the banks accounted for 29,8 million leis, including the loans, disbursed to the banks for crediting of the real sector of economy – 26,1 million leis, for protection of banking system integrity – 3,5 million leis and loans, disbursed to housing associations – 0,2 million leis.

As of June 30, 2010 the loan debt of licensed banks to the NBM amounted to 1 billion 141,6 million leis, expressed in loans, disbursed by the banks for liquidity replenishment – 100 million leis, for protection of banking system integrity – 537,3 million leis, for crediting of real sector of economy – 484,1 million leis and for crediting of housing associations – 20,2 million leis.

As of June 30, 2010 as compared with the end of May 2010, the loan balance, disbursed by the banks increased by 12,5 million leis or by 1,1%.
