OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2010. Petrochemical Complex of OAO TATNEFT has adjusted production plans for 2010 in terms of increasing performance. Planned figures of commodity output of enterprises, which are members of Tatneft-Neftechim Management Company, have been increased from 22 billion rubles to 24.1 billion rubles, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

Adjustments have been made on the basis of the first half of 2010 results: enterprises of the Complex (excluding OOO Nizhnekamsk Solid Steel Cord (SSC) Tire Factory) produced commodity products and rendered services worth 11.4 billion rubles, accounting for 7.9% surplus with regard to the targets figures. The number of car tires produced amounted to 5 million 380 thousand pieces with the planned amount of 5 million 250 thousand pieces and this made 104.2% with regard to the planned figures, or 128% over the same period in 2009. The volume of carbon black produced amounted to 49.878 thousand tons or 115% to that of 2009.

The tire production target for the second half of 2010 has been increased by 288 thousand pieces, which will surpass the planned performance in 2010 by 500 thousand tires, and also increase the volume of sales by 317 thousand pieces bringing the number of it to 10.5 million pieces by the end of this year.

53.8 thousand tons of carbon black will be produced by the end of the year and the annual production volume should reach 103.7 thousand tons versus the previously planned 102 thousand tons.

Considerable work has been done within the framework of the program for improving the organization and structure of production management. Non-core and service activities have been withdrawn from the petrochemical complex.

The activities performed have had a positive impact on the financial and economic performance of the Complex. The proceeds from the products sales have increased by 3.7 times for the 10 years period.

Tatneft-Neftechim Management Company unites a number of enterprises of a common technological cycle from raw material supply to selling of finished products. The structure of the Company includes Nizhnekamskshina, the largest factory among the industry branch enterprises. The Company has also launched the Solid Steel Cord (SSC) tires factory: one of the most up-to-date production facilities in Europe with Tatneft having invested about 17 billion rubles into the construction thereof.
