OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2010. Kostroma Air Enterprise opened scheduled flights from Kostroma Sokerkino Airport in Central Russia to Moscow Domodedovo Airport. This is a unique destination for Moscow Aviation Hub.

Flights MoscowKostroma will be operated by AN-26-100 twice a week: departure from Moscow (Domodedovo) on Monday and Friday at 19 15, arrival to Kostroma (Sokerkino) at 20 35. Departure from Kostroma (Sokerkino) same days at 07 30, arrival to Moscow (Domodedovo) at 08 50.

Kostroma Air Enterprise established in 1944 is one of the oldest in the industry with the air fleet featuring AN-26, AN-2 and helicopters MI-2. At the moment the airline operates domestic flights.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is the largest airport of Russia. Its market share in total passenger traffic in Moscow Aviation Hub makes 46%. At the moment 77 partner airlines (48 foreign including 12 representing the CIS States and 29 Russian) connecting over 233 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 93 exclusive destinations. In 2009 18,7 million passengers benefited from Domodedovo services.
