OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2010. Belarus’ state-owned Novopolotsk protein and vitamin concentrate plant plans to build a coleseed oil-making unit that will cost an estimated 3.8 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official at the company told.

The company has invited tenders to design, construct and launch the production, and supply a coleseed-processing line with an annual capacity of 10,000 tonnes.

Tenders are accepted by August 30, 2010.

Bids are accepted from producers, both domestic and foreign, and their official dealers, as well as special purpose economic entities created to implement the project.

The project will be financed from bank loans.

The Novopolotsk plant was established in 1978. In January-June, its output fell 26% on the year to 18.083 billion rubles.
