Well-known international financial magazine Euromoney (UK) awarded Kredit-Standard open joint-stock commercial bank the title of "The best bank of Uzbekistan-2010" on the results of the activity for 2009 within the framework of annual awarding ceremony for "Best Achievements" of leaders in banking, finance and investment spheres of 70 states.

This title was awarded to the bank on the results of survey of national and international partners of the magazine as well as on the basis of the assessment of Moody's Investors Service" rating agency.

Also, such qualitative and quantitative aspects of the bank activity as management and stuff professionalism and bank statements, transactions for the last year were also taken into consideration during the assessment.

In 2009 Moody's Investors Service rating agency advanced Kredit-Standard bank longterm rating in foreign currency up to B2 and confirmed a stable forecast rated E+.

This decision of agency analysts is explained by improved position of the bank in the market of Uzbekistan, the increase of volume of deposits by 1/3 and credit portfolio by 2/3.

Analysts also considered such facts as the expansion of branch network, the introduction of 3 new types of deposit products and launch of consumer crediting program for the consumption of goods and services produced on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

To be noted, Kredit-Standard bank was established on 16 August 2003. Bank assets as of 1 April 2010 comprised 259.1 billion soums. Share capital of the bank made up 35.4 billion soums.

At the same time Kredit-Standard bank is listed among top national medium-size banks.

The Banker British magazine publishing annual ratings of top banks of the world awarded Kredit-Standard bank the title of "The Best Bank of Uzbekistan-2006". Global Finance magazine awarded the bank with the same title in 2008, 2009, 2010.

Euromoney magazine is monthly financial periodical established in 1969, its headquarters in London. The audience lists over 150,000 readers. Since 1991, Euromoney is annually granting Awards for Excellence to leaders in banking, finance and investments in 70 countries.
