OREANDA-NEWS. August 25, 2010.  According to the current data the power generation in July increased by 4.58% (0.626 billion kWh) compared to June and totaled to 14.286 kWh.
 
This was stated in the report of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy.
 
Compared to July 2009 power generation increased by 5.8% which makes 0.785 billion kWh.
 
In January-July, the output of power grew by 10.4% (10.13 billion kWh) comparing to the same period in 2009 and amounted to 107.599 kWh.

More specifically, the power stations governed by the Ministry of Fuel and Energy have increased the output in January-July by 10.4% (9.732 billion kWh) YoY and reached 103.056 billion kWh.
 
In January-July the nuclear power stations have produced 50.769 billion kWh, thermal power plants and combined heat power plants – 42.985 billion kWh, hydroelectric power plants and storage hydroelectric power plants – 9.298 billion kWh and isolated generating plant and utility combined heat power plants – 4.543 billion kWh.
 
As was reported by the agency, electricity output in July fell by 0.9% (0.124 billion kWh) in comparison to May and made 13.66 billion kWh.

In 2009 electricity output went down by 9.8% or 18.769 billion kWh compared to 2008 and totaled to 172.907 billion kWh.
