OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2010. The fourth interregional professional excellence contest among employees of TNK-BP Upstream subsidiaries has finished in Nizhnevartovsk. 106 representatives of 14 enterprises in West Siberia and the Orenburg, Novosibirsk, and Irkutsk Regions competed for the title “Best in Profession.” Winners were chosen in six nominations, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

Diplomas of the best in profession, bonuses of 60,000 rubles, and vouchers for the final stage of the Corporate Olympic Games in Sochi were awarded to oil and gas production operators Sergey Zaitsev and Sergey Demeshkevich (TNK-Nyagan), desalting and dehydration unit operator Dmitry Timirashev (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk), enhanced oil recovery operator Alexei Vasilyev (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk), operator Alexander Grigoryev (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk), electric/gas welder Dmitry Klimenko (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk), and oilfield equipment repairman Mikhail Kazantsev (Orenburgneft).

Sergey Zaitsev and Sergey Demeshkevich (TNK-Nyagan) were chosen as the best team of oil and gas production operators, Dmitry Timirashev and Alexei Polukarov (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk) the best team of desalting and dehydration unit operators, Alexander Grigoryev and Vyacheslav Berezhnoi (TNK-Nizhnevartovsk) the best team of operators, and Yuri Kondratyev and Mikhail Kazantsev (Orenburgneft) the best team of repairmen. Apart from that, the most experienced participants and the youngest participants of the contest were named in each nomination in the generation relay race.
