OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2010. Belarus’ imports of soft drinks decreased, and of mineral water increased year-on-year in January-June 2010, according to the State Customs Committee.

Imports of soft drinks, including mineral water, still or aerated, with sugar or sweeteners were at 2.744 million decaliters in the period, down 13.1% on the year, worth USD 17.243 million, down 21.7%.

Belarus imported 1.834 million decaliters of drinks of this type from Russia, down 24.8%, worth USD 11.951 million, a decrease of 29.6%.

Imports from Ukraine were at 870,800 decaliters, up 28%, worth USD 4.603 million, up 7.5%.

Imports of water, including natural or artificial mineral water, still or aerated, without sugar or sweeteners were at 362,453 decaliters, up 7.6%, worth USD 1.679 million, up 23.8% on the year in January-June.
