OREANDA-NEWS. August 30, 2010.  Era-GLONASS system in the cars will help calling any rescue service in case of a road accident not only in Russia, but in Europe.
Representatives of Federal Operator NIS state that relevant negotiations with EC are ongoing. Era-GLONASS will be fully compatible with service 112 – emergency call center.

The system will be installed on all vehicles in Russia in 2013.
