SCM bid with the project of building a park around Donbass Arena stadium. The organizers highly appreciated the recreation area of 25 hectares with fountains, ponds, a stone garden and 77,000 plants with half of them being roses. The park won in the nomination Environment and Society.

"We are happy that our commitment to benefit the society and contribute to improving the environment has been appreciated by international non-governmental and environmental organizations. I think the win in the contest is another confirmation that SCM is a socially responsible company and the park around the stadium is a worthy setting for Donbass Arena diamond and a true decoration of Donetsk", said Jock Mendoza-Wilson, Director of International and Investor Relations.
