OREANDA-NEWS. September 3, 2010. Belarusian OJSC FanDOK, based in Bobruisk, in June 2011 plans to launch a production of thin chip board worth over USD 10 million with a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters, an official in the administration of the company told.

The equipment for the plant is supplied by Chinese CITIC and financed from China’s Eximbank loan of around USD 9 million and a USD 1 million Belarusbank loan.

The company plans to invest 38 billion rubles in production in 2010 to modernize the veneer unit with an extension of capacity to 50,000 cubic meters annually and launch a mini-TETs power plant, which will save the company 13,300 tonnes of fuel equivalent a year.

OJSC FanDOK is one of the largest woodworking companies in Belarus.
