OREANDA-NEWS. September 06, 2010. The government amended the Law of Ukraine "On Tourism" to provide quality service by tour operators. The Minister of Justice Oleksandr Lavrynovych said that at a briefing after the Cabinet session.

"The significant changes are expected in the law so that the citizens of Ukraine were protected when they buy the services of tour operators" - he said.

Thus Olexander Lavrynovych stressed that the bill provides for the binding of a number of points to be in the contract of any tour operator in the agreements on providing such services. In particular, according to the Minister, regulatory document determines that detailed information on transportation, vehicle characteristics, habitat, and the legally binding terms that correspond to the tariffs under which a person pays the tour, should be included in the text of the tourism services provision treaty. "We did not create anything unusual. The idea is to define in the agreement all the significant points of the business entity - tour operator and the customer of services bought from travel agent"- he said.
