OREANDA-NEWS. September 08, 2010. Unistream international money transfer system and Agrobank open joint-stock commercial bank successfully implemented integration project and launched money transfers through bank system at Agrobank's branches.

Agrobank operates a wide network in Uzbekistan that provided clients with opportunities to transfer and receive money through 72 branch offices in all regions of the republic. Money transfer services are rendered in USD.

"Uzbekistan is one of few countries where we managed to implement the development program fully and offer our clients remittance services at the highest level. At that, Uzbekistan is among leaders for the money transfer turnover from Russia," commented Maks Ognev, PR Director of Unistream.

"In this context, we intend to further develop Unistream services in the republic and CIS countries as a whole. The system is opened for new integration projects and actively developing partnership network in the post-soviet space."

He also added that Unistream in Uzbekistan has a good services area. It lists over 1,000 stations, 250 of them are in Tashkent and over 60 - in Samarkand. At the same time, in the republic, just like in all CIS countries, Unistream offers its clients a unique combination of address and zero-address transfers.

The sender has an opportunity to choose between the transfer to a specific operation point or to any Unistream branch in the state of the receiver.

In August the company launched a new service product - unified client card. It is aimed to increase the level of usability and efficiency of operations. The card contains all the necessary information about the client and recent transfers that helps to reduce the time of operations. Moreover, it is assumed to draw prizes between card holders. The card will be accepted in all partner banks in CIS and abroad.

In the first quarter 2010 the number of transactions all over the republic comprised 420,000 by adding 10% versus the same period for 2009. Totally, Unistream system operates over 16,000 service stations in Russia and CIS countries and collaborates with over 250 financial institutions.
