OREANDA-NEWS. September 10, 2010. Belarus’ internal debt increased 1.2% on the month in July to 8.418 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of August 1, 2010, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 6.7% in the first seven months in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 531 billion rubles in January-July 2010, or 0.6% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 25.8%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 74.2%.
