OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2010. In Ukraine national and regional food reserves should be created for rapid response to the price spike. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said that in Simferopol at a meeting of top issues of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

"We must create a network of wholesale markets to create significant reserves in the state and regions that help to regulate and eliminate these wavelets rush" - he said.

The main causes of price agitation observed recently, the Head of Government called the undeveloped market infrastructure and the inability of local authorities to respond quickly to the situation. "There was no reason for buzz on buckwheat and potatoes, which we will bring to capital in such quantity that there will be no place where to store it" - he said.

Thus Mykola Azarov noted that rumours on price increase have place also in the capital of Ukraine.
