OREANDA-NEWS. September 13, 2010. Belaruskali potash maker plans to increase natural gas consumption 72% on the year in 2010 to 241.1 million cubic meters, a source in the administration of the producer told.

“The increase will be caused by more serious production plans – Belaruskali projects potash output at 7.25 million tonnes this year, which is almost twice as much as in 2009.”

Some 1.4-1.5 million tonnes of potash will be supplied to the domestic market, and the rest will be exported.
