OREANDA-NEWS. September 15, 2010. The Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Slauta held a meeting of the Governmental Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations.

Members of the Governmental Committee approved the draft Law of Ukraine "On making changes to Section II of "Final Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On amendments to paragraph 1 of section XI of "Final Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On the safety and quality of food" on selling on the agricultural markets homemade and slaughtered products." The document provides to exclude provisions under which the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine should develop and adopt a state program of creation and opening of points of purchase of milk and slaughter-houses (slaughter and sanitary units) for the animals kept in farms, because these issues are solved in the state target economic program to support the development of agricultural service cooperatives till 2015, approved by the Government dated June 3, 2009 № 557.

Also at the meeting the draft Decree of the Government was supported, which provides allocation for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine of funds from the State Budget Stabilization Fund in 2010 to reduce loans, to finance investment projects, national and state targeted programs in agriculture, to solve issues of agribusiness budget institutions logistics in particular, through:

State support to agriculture through the mechanism of credits reduction;

holding public exhibitions in the field of agriculture;

selection in fisheries;

reproduction of aquatic resources in inland waters and Azov-Black Seas Basin;

State support of agricultural advisory services;

credits arrears for 2009refunding;

elimination of consequences of mines flooding of the state enterprise "Solotvyno salt mine" Tiachiv district, Zakarpatsky region";

organizing activities of fisheries complexes;

organization of institutions in the system of agriculture;

preventing the spread of infectious agents of animal diseases;

partial compensation of the value of the complex agricultural machinery of domestic production;
farms granting credits;

pedigree heifer, domestic machinery and equipment purchase for agriculture, followed by selling it to the agricultural enterprises under financial leasing.
