OREANDA-NEWS. September 16, 2010. The Board of Directors of Mobile dismissed the company’s general director Alexei Nichiporenko.  Mikhail Petrov was named as the new general director.

Mobiltel was established for the purpose of exercising day-to-day management over the mobile assets of the Svyazinvest Group. In his position as general director of the company Mikhail Petrov will be in charge of preparing the Group’s mobile assets for integration pursuant to the upcoming reorganization of the Svyazinvest Group of companies, streamline the business processes and phase in uniform converged products.

In addition, Mr. Petrov will retain his position as the general director of NCC.

Mikhail Viktorovich Petrov was born in Saratov in 1973.

In 1995 – graduated from the Saratov Technical University with a major in automation and control of technical systems, in 2003 graduated from the Academy of the National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, Master of Business Administration (MBA).

From 1995-2001 – employed at Saratov Mobile, where he rose in the ranks from engineer to general director.

From 2004-2007 – employed at VolgaTelecom where from 2004-2005 he was deputy general director for mobile telephony, from 2005-2007 he was deputy general director of the company.

In 2001 he was head of NCC.
