OREANDA-NEWS. September 17, 2010. Belarus’ imports of beer decreased 6.4% on the year in January-July 2010 to 7.663 million decaliters, amounting to USD 38.307 million, down 9.1% in value terms, according to customs statistics.

Russian beer imports went down 11.4% on the year in January-July to 4.723 million decaliters worth USD 26.002 million, down 13.8%, while Ukrainian beer imports increased 0.9% to 2.831 million decaliters to the amount of USD 10.806 million, down 0.4%.

Imports of Lithuanian beer hiked 6.7 times to 36,246 decaliters worth USD 319,900, up 250%, of Czech beer reached 25,136 decaliters, down 2.4%, worth USD 476,100, down 14.9%, and imports from Germany amounted to 9,938 decaliters, up 33.8% in volume terms, to the amount of USD 289,700, up 26.6%.
