OREANDA-NEWS. September 20, 2010. Ukraine International Airlines has delivered exhibits from the National Museum of History of Ukraine, Museum of Historical Treasures of Ukraine, Vinnytsia Regional Museum and Institute of Archaeology, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine from Vienna to Kiev, reported the press-centre of UIA.

The valuable cargo arrived on a special UIA flight PS 4999 to Boryspol International airport. The cargo of 14 seats (total weight more than a ton) was transported by the only Boeing Freighter 737-300 in Ukraine, which is operated by UIA. The exhibits were accompanied by museum staff and UIA staff.

The exhibits are the oldest examples of nomadic culture dating from the period of the II millennium BC - XIII century AD. They are listed in the State register of national cultural heritage of Ukraine and thus extremely valuable. The declared insurance value exceeds 20 million euro.

These exhibits were represented at the exhibition called "Golden sky. 4000 years, the nomads of Ukraine", held from March 23 to August 22, 2010 in the Federal Museum of Upper Austria in Linz.
