OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2010. The press-service of Central Bank informs that on 1st August 2010 total amount of credit investments in Azerbaijan economy made 8656,2 million manta, reported the press-centre of CBA.

This indicator in comparison with the same period of time of last year increased by 19,7%. 400,0 million manat of credit investments fell to the share of past-due loans. 29,6% of the credits or 2560,6 million manat were granted into home industry. The volume of credits directed to the trade and service spheres was 2029,0 million manat (23,4%). 442,8 million manat (5,1%) fell to the share of transport and communication spheres, 620,8 million manat (7,2%) to the share of industry and production.

1073,5 million manat or 12,4% were granted to the energy, chemistry and national resources spheres, 415,8 million manat or 4,8% to the agriculture and processing spheres, 609,6 million manat (7,0%) to the construction and property spheres, 50,2 million manat or 0,6% directed to other spheres.

On 1st August of 2010 2401,5 million manat (27,8%) of credits were short-term credits, 6249,7 million manat (72,2%) long-term credits. 176,8 million manat of short-term credits or 7,4%, 223,2 million manat or 3,6% of long-term credits are past-due loans.

There were invested credits into economy by state bank 3829,1 million manat (44,2%), by private banks 4644,7 million manat (53,7%), by non-bank credits organizations 182,4 million manat (2,1%).

There were granted into economy of Azerbaijan by banks, founded on a foreign capitals 2185,8 million manat, so the total weight of its credit investments equal 25,3%. The banks are using 100% of foreign capitals granted 454,0 million (5,2%) credits. 5357,6 million manat or 61,9% of credits were granted in national currency, 3293,6 million manat or 38,1% in foreign currency.
