OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2010. SITRONICS has accomplished first step of crucial PDSN equipment (data transfer in CDMA networks) delivery and installation for MTS India. MTS India will provide Internet access for its subscribers through the PDSN equipment.

The solution implemented by SITRONICS is based on CISCO technologies. The project is to be implemented in 3 years and is worth USD 3 million. Implementation of the project is undertaken in cooperation with Indian partner - WIPRO Infotech.

“We have been working in India since May 2008, and in 2009 we set up a subsidiary. The project for MTS India is one our largest projects in the region. We look forward significant growth potential and will strengthen our position in the Indian telecommunications market”, noted the Vice-President on Sales of SITRONICS Alexander Krasovsky.

PDSN implementation is a necessary step for execution of strategic plans regarding potential customers acquisition, who are primarily the users of Internet and other non-voice services, - says Mr.Lenoid Musatov , Chief Marketing Officer of MTS in India. “SITRONICS has already accomplished a range of projects for us, such as FORIS billing system implementation, RUIM-cards delivery, etc. We are extremely pleased to have a partner with such a large competence in telecommunications sphere to develop our business in new regions”, Mr. Musatov added.
