OREANDA-NEWS. September 22, 2010. Sviaz-Bank’s branch in Ufa has entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Bashkortostan that authorized it to transfer social benefits to recipients, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

If the recipients wish so, the Bank’s Ufa branch, acting under the agreement, will credit social benefits to their deposit accounts or bank card accounts opened with the branch, without charging commission.

The offer the branch makes to benefit recipients applies to add-on accounts in Sviaz-Bank’s deposit account line and does not alter deposit terms. A deposit account may be opened with the Ufa branch itself or any of its additional offices in the city.

“The republic’s citizens can now collect their social benefits from their special-purpose accounts credited with money due, saving time and increasing their incomes,” said Elvir Khantimerov, Manager of Sviaz-Bank’s Ufa branch.

A year earlier, in 2009, the Ufa branch entered into an agreement with the Division of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Bashkortostan on delivery of pensions and other money benefits paid by the Russian Pension Fund by crediting the benefits to Pension Reserve accounts.
