OREANDA-NEWS. September 23, 2010. Moscow regional Arbitration Court confirmed the rightness of the decision of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on administrative liability of “Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers” OJSC for abusing dominance on the market of sulphate-free phosphoric acid, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 7th July 2009, FAS Russia imposed an administrative fine upon “Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers” OJSC – 1,541,304 Rubles under Article 14.31 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations.

Earlier FAS Russia initiated a case against “Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers” OJSC upon petition of “Voskresensk Research Institute of Fertilizers and Phosphoric Acid” OJSC and found that “Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers” OJSC violated Article 10 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. In particular, “Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers” OJSC refused to supply sulphate-free phosphoric acid to the Research Institute without any economic or technological grounds, and creating discriminatory conditions and infringing economic interests of “Voskresensk Research Institute of Fertilizers and Phosphoric Acid” OJSC on 2008.

Products of processing sulphate-free phosphoric acid are use in car-making and food industries.
