Considering the fact that there is no such production in the country, Rosnano is searching for the place where it can be established studying a certain experience gained in Tomsk region,” S. Tochilin said.

Deputy Governor also noted that Rosnano might determine the production location conclusively before the end of the year.

According to S. Tochilin, 150–200 people will be employed at the new production.

He also expressed confidence in the fact that there were all resources necessary for such production in Tomsk region. “We have desire, resources and means, it can be implemented,” S. Tochilin assured.

As explained to the agency by the press service of Siberian Chemical Plant, nitrogen trifluoride is used in the electronic industry to manufacture microcircuits, LCD displays and thin-film solar batteries.
