OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2010. Partner Airlines of Moscow Domodedovo Airport British Airways and Iberia now are taking advantage of Common Use Self Service (CUSS) kiosks provided by Domodedovo airport.

There are 12 CUSS installed in the passenger terminal at the moment where passengers may register to flights of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, bmi, United Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Air Berlin, Montenegro Airlines, Nouvelair, Meridiana Fly, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan, Orenair, Yamal and KavMinVodyAvia.

Lufthansa was among those airlines which pioneered use of CUSS in Domodedovo airport thus enabling the airline to meet international rates of the demand for this particular service.

Domodedovo airport strives to provide active use of its CUSS kiosks by all partner airlines. To this end the airport is planning to install several times more of the kiosks to cope the needs of growing passenger traffic. Some of the devices will appear in transfer halls of the airport passenger terminal and at Paveletsky railway station.

Passengers can enjoy easier and faster passage through the airport due to less queues. One can print out his boarding pass without waiting at a registration desk for manual check in, leave his luggage at a Drop Off point and proceed to a gate.

At the moment 75 partner airlines (47 foreign including 12 representing the CIS States and 28 Russian) connecting 234 destinations operate flights all over the world. The unique route network covered by Domodedovo partner airlines provides for 95 exclusive destinations. Domodedovo Airport has been chosen for operations to Moscow by member airlines of two world aviation alliances: Star Alliance and oneworld.
