OREANDA-NEWS. September 28, 2010. The expenses for the repair have equaled RUR 1.2 million instead of the planned RUR 2 million.

The major overhaul of seven 110-150 kV switches at the substations of the industrial branch "Northern Electric Networks" was planned in 2010, within the limits of the repair program. It was planned to carry out by a contractor, but considering the fact of arrangement of the Repair Shop in the ID "NEN", all the repairs of switches were performed in house (using the company's own resources). Thus, the expenses were RUR 3.8 million instead of the planned RUR 6.6 million. The Company saved almost twofold.

Within the framework of the repair program of Kolenergo, ID "NEN" completed the major overhaul of the power transformer T-1 at the central Murmanskaya substation S-5 (110/35/6 kV). In 2009, its complex inspection was completed. Based on the results of the inspection, it was necessary to carry out major overhaul of the transformer with replacement of two high-voltage inputs of 110 kV and repair of the device for voltage adjustment in the load mode.

In view of the specific nature of the work, the contractor "Volgaenergoremont" was selected on a competitive basis, which finished major overhaul of the transformer successfully ahead of schedule. Now the power transformer has been commissioned. According to the rules, its condition is being monitored. The results of the monitoring are positive. The expenses for the repair have been RUR 1.2 million instead of the planned RUR 2 million. The saving has equaled RUR 800 thousand.
