OREANDA-NEWS. October 01, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that “Lenenergo” OJSC violated the Information Disclosure Standards* and imposed an administrative fine upon the company (RUB 200,000), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

“Lenenergo” OJSC violated the standards for placing information on the official web-site and the procedures for publishing such information in print media, which publish official materials of the authorities in accordance with the federal laws and laws of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation.

Article 9.15 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations specifies liability of participants of the wholesale markets of electric power and capacity and participants of retail markets of electric power for violating the procedures, methods or deadlines established by the Information Disclosure Standards for publishing information in print media, which publish official materials of the authorities in accordance with the federal laws and laws of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation, in electronic mass media, as well as the procedures, methods or deadlines for providing information upon a written request of interested persons.
