OREANDA-NEWS. October 04, 2010. JSC "KazTransOil"has increased the volumes of oil transportation by 4%.

According to the factual data the volume of oil transportation through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in January – August 2010 was equal to 34 million 728 thou. tons. Comparing to the same period of 2009 the volume of oil transportation increased by 1 million 384 thou. tons, or by 4% (fact for 8 months of 2009 was equal to 33 million 344 thou. tons).

The cargo turnover through the network of main oil pipelines of JSC “KazTransOil” in 8 months of 2010 was equal to 22 billion 723 million tons per km. Relatively to the same period of the last year the given indicator increased by 596 million tons per km or by 3%.

According to the results of reporting period of the present year volume of oil throughput via section of "Atasu-Alashankou" reached the level of 6 million 704 thou. tons of oil, which exceeds the indicator of the same period of 2009 by 1million 926 thou. tons, or 40% (fact for 8 months of 2009 was equal to 4 million 778 thou. tons).

Transit of Russian oil via the section of "TON-2", located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was equal to 3 million 614 thou. tons of oil, the increase, in comparison with January-August of 2009, equals to 297 thou. tons or 9% according to results of the reporting period of 2010 (fact for 8 months of 2009 was equal to 3 million 317 thou. tons of oil).

In comparison with the last year, the volume of oil transportation through the network of main pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil" to oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan has increased. According to the results of 8 months of 2010 the volume of oil transportation to refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan was equal to 8 million 521 thou. tons, which is 1 million 732 thou. tons or 26% higher than in the same period of 2009 (the fact for the 8 months of 2009 was equal to 6 million 789 thou. tons of oil).

JSC "KazTransOil" carries out supply of Volga water to consumers of Atyrau and Mangistau oblasts of Kazakhstan via Astrahan-Mangyshklak waterline. In January-August of the current year, the volume of water supply was equal to 14 million 457 thou. cubic meters, and in comparison with the same period of 2009, the volume increased by 1 million 640 thou. cubic meters or for 13%.
