OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2010. DIXY Group – one of the leading food and FMCG retailers in Russian Federation – has announced revenue growth of 16.3% in Russian rubles (26.0% in USD) for the eight months of 2010 over the same period last year.1,2

DIXY Group’s total revenue for the eight months of 2010 amounted to RUR 41,195 million, representing a 16.3% increase over RUR 35,410 million for the same period of 2009.3 In USD terms revenue increased by 26.0% to 1,365 million, compared to USD 1,083 million for the eight months of 2009.

Retail revenue from DIXY stores for the eight months of 2010 amounted to RUR 34,656 million (USD 1,148 million), which represents a 17.2% growth in RUR (26.9% in USD) over the same period of 2009.

Retail revenue from Megamart stores for the eight months of 2010 amounted to RUR 4,648 million (USD 154 million), which represents a 16.0% growth in RUR (25.7% in USD) over the same period of 2009.

Retail revenue from Minimart stores for the first eight months of 2010 amounted to RUR 1,428 million (USD 47 million), which represents a 7.8% growth in RUR (16.8% in USD) over the same period of 2009.

Revenue from other activities, such as marketing revenue, sublease income and wholesale revenue amounted to RUR 463 million (USD 15 million).
