OREANDA-NEWS. October 05, 2010. Being the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, PAVA has signed a contract for the supply of consumer-sized flour to federal retail chain “Magnit”. “Altay-Batushka” flour produced by PAVA is now available on the shelves in Russia’s largest retail chain.

The contract has been signed in early July this year and “Altay-Batushka” flour in 2-kg packs in blue design is already present on the shelves in “Magnit” stores in Chelyabinsk. Bright package hints at Altay traditions whereas the name of the trademark reflects the connection to the place where the feedstock is cultivated. These factors together with affordable price have sparked the consumers’ interest whereas excellent quality has secured stable growth in sales volume.

As stressed by the company’s representatives, negotiations are presently being held with the representatives of the retail chain in more than 10 Russian regions.

PAVA ships the flour produced at Rebrikha milling plant (Altay territory) to retail chain “Magnit”.
