OREANDA-NEWS. October 06, 2010. Kyivstar, a leading Ukrainian telecommunication operator passed accreditation of the global Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Receiving the status of Accredited Employer confirms conformity of Kyivstar’s financial service personnel training and development system with the best international practices, and once again proves out title of the best employer in Ukraine.

The status of Approved Employer confirms that Kyivstar’s educational system and specifically the development of financial service personnel are in line with leading international practices.

Lesia Samoilovych, Kyivstar’s Deputy Financial Director and Chief Accountant, notes: "Receiving the status of ACCA-accredited employer will become a platform for the mutually beneficial cooperation between our company and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in sphere of improvement of our financial experts" training and qualification standards’.

In the framework of the ACCA program, Kyivstar achieved the status of an Approved Employer according to the professional development stream program, which will help the Company increase the level of qualifications of its personnel through methods and instruments developed by ACCA.
