According to preliminary data, foreign direct investment flow in Lithuania in Q2 2010 was negative (minus LTL 365.5 million), which indicates the investment outflow from Lithuania. From the beginning of the year, cumulative foreign direct investment in Lithuania decreased by LTL 954.9 million to LTL 32.7 billion as of 30 June 2010, reported the press-centre of Bank of Lithuania.

In Q2 2010, the flow of Lithuanian foreign direct investments abroad made up LTL 18.7 million, i. e. Lithuania?s investments abroad has been increasing, although Lithuania?s cumulative foreign direct investments abroad went down from the beginning of the year by LTL 904.2 million to stand at LTL 4.7 billion at the end of Q2 2010.

The data for Q1 were revised when preparing the FDI data for Q2 2010. Also, the revision of the data for 2008-2009 was done in accordance with the standards for the revision of the statistical data recording.
