OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2010. "MEGABANK, PJSC" became one of the winners of the contest "National system of mass electronic payments - 10 steps to success" in the nomination "Significant contribution to the development of Internet acquiring NSMEP", reported the press-centre of MEGABANK.

Diploma and a memorable sign was given to the Vice Chairman of the Board of "MEGABANK, PJSC" Victoria Podgornaya.

The contest is timed to the tenth anniversary of the beginning of the implementation of the pilot project of the National system of mass electronic payments. It was organized by the National Bank of Ukraine and magazine "Banker".

Participants of the awards ceremony noted that for 10 years NSMEP system has established itself as a high-tech hardware and software system with a high margin of safety, reliability and innovation. Along with the cash operations and cashless payment for goods and services, the citizens of Ukraine by NSMEP can transfer funds via the Internet, pay for utilities and telecommunication services, can buy electronic rail and air tickets. With the use of technology NSMEP the projects "Electronic student ID card," "Social card", "Transportation Map", "Insurance card", "Internet money transfers" are realizing.

As Victoria Podgornaya noted the issue of NSMEP cards is one of the priorities of "MEGABANK, PJSC". "The cards NSMEP has several advantages. Chip cards are much more protected from hacking or interference. In addition, only with cards NSMEP you can very conveniently, quickly and inexpensively pay, for example, for utility servises," - said Victoria Podgornaya.

During the awards CB "Khreshchatyk",  JSC "Imeksbank", AB "Express Bank", Banks "Lvov", "Grant" ,"Demark", "CHBRR", "Mercury", USEPC "Ukrposhta", LLC "Interplat" , Institute of Applied Innovative Technologies, Ukrainian Academy and University of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine (for its contribution to the development of "Electronic student ID card") have been noted. Also software development, supply terminals, ATMs, card production companies were awarded.
