OREANDA-NEWS. October 08, 2010. Izhorskiye Zavody, a part of OMZ Group, has completed its contract obligations before JSC  Naftan (Novopolotsk, Belarus Republic), producing and shipping 6 petrochemical reactors.

The contract was signed in 2008, following an international tender.

According to the contract, Izhorskiye Zavody has manufactured and shipped the following items: R-1001 hydrotreater unit of 1.7 m diameter, 16.5 m height and 33 tons weight (in 2009); R-1002 petroleum hydrotreater unit of 1.85 m diameter, 30.5 m height and 70 tons weight, 3 P-201 diesel fuel hydrotreater units of 1.85 m diameter, 38.7 m height and 270 tons weight each, and 1 R-101N reactor of 3.2 m diameter, 39 m height and 230 tons weight (in 2010).

The last reactor was shipped to the customer in September 2010.

Technical project for the reactor was developed by JSC  VNIIneftemash; licensers are Haldor Topsoe A/S (Denmark) and Albemarle corporation.

All reactors were produced according to the requirements of ASME Code.

The equipment will be used for modernization and reconstruction at JSC  Naftan within the framework of Naftan 2010 – 2015 program.

Novopolotsky oil refinery JSC  Naftan is a part of Belneftekhim corporation. The refinery specializes in fuel and oils, manufacturing over 70 products, including Euro-4 and Euro-5 oil, petroleum and diesel fuel.
