On Friday, Oct 8, the Ukrainian stock market less active than on previous days. The Ukrainian UX index closed in the red having dropped by 0.66%, or 12.47 ppt, to 1,884.12 ppt on the turnover of UAH 70.9mn. All sectors went down. Banks (-1.1%) fell the most with FORM having declined the most by 1.8% on the UAH 2.0mn. Gencos (-0.1%) faced relatively moderate decline with CEEN (0.12%) having sank by -0.12%. Among miners (-0.5%) SGOK was the only liquid stock to end up higher adding 0.24%. On the foreign exchanges Mriya (+3.2%) was the top gainer over the day. Kulczyk Oil (+3.0%) showed growth on the highest turnover of USD  3.0mn, while other Ukraine-focused oil and gas explorers slumped.
