The down payment for a personal computer is 15% or 30% of its full price. A 50% discount on the Avangard service monthly fee is granted from the moment of contract signing till the end of the program, that is, till June 30, 2011.

Oleg V. Popov, Deputy General Director/Chief Commercial Director, N.W.Telecom, noted, “2010 was declared the Teacher’s Year in Russia, and the Web Space Year in our company. This space is more and more active becoming a fact of life, because over one third of all residents of the North-West have access to the Internet. Developing successful joint initiatives with Intel Corporation, we decided to extend the “Computer for Teachers” program for the new school year too, offering our teachers the shortest and most comfortable way to the Internet space. Today, thanks to the Internet, teachers can not only improve their professional skills, but also become close to their pupils, for better understanding of the new generation, “the Web 2.0 generation."

“The announcement of the “Computer for Teachers 2010” program is a next step in the successful cooperation of our companies and an important phase in the generation of the innovative role of telecom operators in developing an information society,” assures Igor A. Sysoev, Corporate Project Development Manager, Intel Corporation. “ Telecom operators are becoming a basis for qualitative transformations in education, health care, and content generation and access. It is such initiatives that will become the main focus of the Intel® World Ahead program in 2011.”
