OREANDA-NEWS. October 15, 2010. Belarus’ internal debt increased 1.4% on the month in August to 8.54 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br) as of September 1, 2010, an official with Belarus’ Finance Ministry told.

Belarus’ internal debt rose 8.3% in the first eight months in real terms (adjusted for inflation).

Internal debt increased by 653 billion rubles in January-August 2010, or 0.7% of GDP, the official said.

Of the total internal state debt, the long-term debt of the government accounts for 25.4%, short-term debt for 0% and the debt secured by the government for 74.6%. End (Br3,010 – USD 1)
