OREANDA-NEWS. October 18, 2010. Sviaz-Bank’s Board of Directors passed a decision to open a branch in Kemerovo within the framework of its strategy to diversify the network of the Bank’s branches, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

The branch will open for business in Kemerovo tentatively in the first quarter of 2011 and will handle all banking transactions in rubles and foreign currencies. The Kemerovo branch will offer its individual and corporate customers the full range of banking services, including accepting deposits, opening and maintaining bank accounts, providing cash services, making money transfers, issuing bank guarantees, lending funds, managing funds on trust, and so on.

The branch will be situated at 9 Oktyabrsky Avenue, Central District, Kemerovo, Kemerovo Region.

“Kemerovo is a major industrial and economic center of Kemerovo Region. It has a great investment potential and registers growth in manufacturing output, personal incomes, and revenues of the city’s enterprises,” said Irina Busheva, Vice Chair of Sviaz-Bank’s Management Board. “We hope that our new regional branch will contribute to intensive economic growth in the city and region, manufacturing, and maintaining a favorable investment climate.”

Today, Sviaz-Bank has 49 branches and 149 additional offices and mini-branches across the Russian Federation. Months earlier, last May, a decision was made to open a branch in Kazan that is to become Sviaz-Bank’s 50th regional branch.
