OREANDA-NEWS. October 19, 2010. Frankfurt-am-Main, a prominent financial centre of Europe, will play host to a third Belarusian Investment Forum. The Belarusian Investment Forums have now become traditional, owing to well-deserved popularity amongst foreign investors. The Frankfurt-based event, a major part of the European Financial Week, will be the second national forum staged abroad.

A high-profile Belarusian delegation will be led by Belarus Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky and involve Ministers, heads of governmental bodies and concerns, entrepreneurial unions and flagship enterprises.

The conference will include two successive plenaries entitled: "Why is it profitable to invest into Belarus economy?" and "How invest into the Republic of Belarus?" and three simultaneous sections arranged as podium debates.

In a frank and straightforward dialogue with investors, the governmental officials and CEOs of concerns will talk about the structural economic reforms underway in Belarus now. Special focus will be given to various peculiarities of the liberalization policies carried out in the country which invariably provoke interest in the foreign audiences. The discussions will dwell on the many possibilities of investing into a variety of Belarusian economic sectors and industries, e.g. through close involvement into privatization processes. A vibrant dialogue will engage those interested to know of the Belarus advantages opening up in the wake of Belarus accession to the Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.

Along with the Belarusian participants, the Forum will provide a platform for the foreign banks and companies, with a thriving business in Belarus, who will share their own experience and perspective of the Belarusian business environment.
