OREANDA-NEWS. October 20, 2010. Governed by Articles 28 and 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) considered a petition (Registration No.47568 of 1st October 2010) of “Gaztransservice” Ltd. (location: 50, Sakko Per., Tomsk, 634050; main activities – transportation services) on acquiring 66.02% shares of “Zapadno-Sibirskoye Rechnoe Parokhodstvo” OJSC (location: 14, Krasny Prospekt, Novosibirsk, 630007; main activities – leasing river-crafts, dry cargo transportation), which in addition to the shares of “Zapadno-Sibirskoye Rechnoe Parokhodstvo” OJSC already in possession of “Gaztransservice” Ltd. will give “Gaztransservice” Ltd. control over 92.46 % of all shares of the company, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

To be able to additionally analyze the impact of the transactions on the state of competition on the relevant market, and governed by Clause 2 Part 2 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, FAS Russia extended the period for petition consideration until 1st December 2010.
