On Tuesday, Oct 19, the UX index slumped additional 1.39%, or -25.24 ppt, to 1,790.46 ppt. The trade activity was notably large at UAH 122.3mn. All sectors closed in the red with the coke producers having tumbled 2.1%. Gencos (-0.7%) slid less than others due to supportive growth of CEEN (+0.34%) on the firm UAH 9.6mn. Among railcars (-1.0%) KVBZ and SVGZ went down by 1.62% and 0.91%. Banks also faced losses with the USCB and FORM, down 3.63% and 1.94%. BAVL (-0.56%) showed relatively moderate decline. Among individual names UNAF was on sale posting the highest turnover of UAH 20.6mn. On the foreign exchanges Mriya (+4.9%) kept growing. Oil & gas names focusing on Ukraine declined with the Regal having dropped by 13.3%.
