OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2010. The Belarusian government has granted Cyprus’ Renaissance Investments Limited the right to represent Belarus’ interests in the matter of investment attraction, in accordance with resolution #1445 of the Council of Ministers.

Mogilev Region Administration is responsible for the interaction with the investor.

According to the chair of the economics committee of the administration, Dmitry Nemenkov, the Cypriot investor is interested in the region’s light, chemical and petrochemical industries. “The largest companies of the region are Mogilevkhimvolokno, Belshina, and the investor might be invited in those enterprises,” he said.

“We have held preliminary talks; they have analyzed our proposals and concluded that investments might be injected not only in production, but also in the travel sector.”
