OREANDA-NEWS. October 27, 2010. Air Moldova airline has signed an interline agreement with Syrian Arab Airlines that comes in force, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The agreement will allow each of the parties to sell transportations on routes of other party using electronic ticket.

Syrian Arab Airlines is the national carrier airline in Syria with the HQ in capital Damascus.

Now it operates flights to 50 destinations, both local and international. Syrian Arab Airlines serves cities like Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Casablanca, Delhi, Kuwait, Mumbai, Teheran and others.

Air Moldova airline flies direct to 17 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Munich and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Class of service - Business and Economy.

Air Moldova is the biggest Moldovian airline and it has more than 50 % of air transportations registered on the national market.

From 10th of May, Air Moldova’s fleet was increased by a brand new aircraft Embraer 190 that arrived on base airport in Chisinau directly from manufacturer. The aircraft was named "Stefan cel Mare" during inauguration ceremony.
