Additional information:
Stroytransgaz has been participating in ESPO project since 2006. Customer for the project is Transneft. Within the scope of ESPO Phase 1, Stroytransgaz constructed 488.7 km of linear part and OPS Skovorodino. The contract for ESPO Phase 2 envisages the construction of 197 kilometers with diameter of 1,067 millimeters. More than the quarter of the total length has been already laid. In undertaking this work, Stroytransgaz drew on Tynda and Ufa branches and a subsidiary Neftegazstroykontrol.

The route is characterized by lack of transport and industrial infrastructures. Moreover, ESPO geological, hydrological and seismic conditions are complicated.

In order to achieve the operative contract realization, considerable technical and manpower resources have been located at Stroytransgaz construction site, including 825 workers and 465 units of equipment. Five construction camps were installed along the route.

Stroytransgaz installed a pipe welding station, equipped with a set of up-to-date equipment, including pipe-bending machines, performing bends of up to 12о. М-300С Automatic Welding Sets and Innershield technology are used in the performance of work. The relocation of the equipment from the European part of Russia is being executed to accelerate construction. The second string of welding machines will be organized in the nearest future.
