OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is considering a petition of “Almaz-Antei” Concern PVO” OJSC (location: 41, Vereiskaya St., Moscow, 121471; main activities – development, production, repair and disposal of anti-aircraft and anti-missile firing equipment and their compounds, intelligence systems, command and communications systems, computer systems and complexes, and special software) on acquiring 55.6% voting shares of “Impulse” OJSC (location: 102, Mira Prospekt, Moscow, 129626; main activities – R&D, design & experimental, project and other types of works towards development and production of weapons and military equipment), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Under Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) has extended the period for petition consideration for two months in order to obtain additional information necessary to make a decision.

Interested persons can submit information about the impact of the proposed transaction upon the state of competition to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
