OREANDA-NEWS. November 01, 2010. The reconstruction of the energy facility is planned to be completed before the end of 2010.

IDGC of North-West’s branch “Vologdaenergo” has started to install new power transformers of the capacity of 4 MVA each, at 35/10 kV “Sheksna-Gaz” substation located in the Cherepovets District. Installation of the new electrotechnical equipment is performed within the framework of realization of the substation reconstruction project. When installation of the transformers is completed, assembly of a new switchgear and control gear (SCG) of 35 kV and common substation control building (SCB) will be also performed in the territory of the substation.

Let us remind that reconstruction of 35/10 kV “Sheksna-Gaz” substation is held within the framework of the agreement on realization of engineering connection of power receiving devices of the compressor station “Sheksninskaya” of the North-European gas main to the electric grids of IDGC of North-West’s branch “Vologdaenergo”. The power company will provide for required capacity in the amount of 1450 kW as a result of connection of the consumer to its grids.

The total cost of reconstruction of 35/10 kV “Sheksna-Gaz” substation will equal RUR 54.5 million. The reconstruction of the energy facility is planned to be completed in December 2010.
