Information reference
It is expected that "PD Tatneft-Alabuga Glass" factory will produce 21 thousand tons per year (which accounts for about 15-17% of the Russian market) of high-quality competitive fiberglass, as well as fiberglass based products for construction, automotive, shipbuilding, electro-technical and other industries. This is direct and assembled rovings, glass grids, glass mats, etc.

Total investments in the project are estimated in the amount of 84.5 million Euros. The factory will provide job positions for 300 inhabitants of Yelabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny.

Important advantages of the new production works are: possibility of using local raw materials (sand, lime, clay, etc.), a convenient geographical location, proximity to large petrochemical and automobile manufacturing works, road building, electrical and other industrial enterprises, as well as well developed transport infrastructure in the region.

To date, products made of fiberglass are gaining popularity and currently the portfolio of PD Tatneft-Alabuga Steklovolokno factory already has a number of signed contracts for the supply of products, including overseas deliveries.
