OREANDA-NEWS. November 11, 2010. According to the Ministry of Finance, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was the largest Moldova’s creditor in this period, remitting USD 121,74 million to the country.

It is followed by the International Development Association (IDA), entering the World Bank Group, allocating credits to Moldova totaling to USD 26,52 million, and the government of Poland - USD 15 million.

Thus, the share of IMF is 70,2% of all external credits, IDA – about 15,3%, government of Poland – 8,6%. At the same time, near USD 36,81 million out of total credit amount or near 21,2% Moldova received to finance the investment projects in the field of agriculture, energy, transport, road infrastructure, telecommunications and IT sectors, etc., and the rest USD 136,74 million or 78,8% - to support the budget.
