OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2010. The Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and the head of Aeroflot Airlines Company Vitali Saveliev have opened a new central Aeroflot sales office in 10, Arbat St., reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

According to Vitali Saveliev, ‘Aeroflot is consolidating its reputation as top quality company by continuingly improving its services, modernizing its work and introducing new passenger service technologies’.

For the passengers’ convenience the new office has a spacious floor with ticket counters as well as computer kiosks by means of which passengers can book and buy tickets. The productivity of the new office is expected to be 60% higher than that of the conventional ticket office. The nine ticket clerks of the new Aeroflot office will be able to serve up to 500 clients a day while up to 150 passengers will be able to use the computer kiosks. The queuing time is expected to decrease two times to 10 - 12 minutes.

The new Aeroflot sales office has several advantages; it is ideally located (close to the Arbatskaya metro station), it has new software that helps provide individually tailored customer service. Furthermore, an electronic system of queue management has been installed in the office and the maximum number of options is being used that ensures high effectiveness and quality of passenger service; the system also recognizes the elite members of the Aeroflot Bonus program. The floor of the office is in the Aeroflot company style and is equipped with plasma display panels with up-to-date information; music is played; all the staff of the office are trained specialists, laureates and winners of the ‘Best in profession’ competition.
